Zoo-Real
Synopsis
Zoo-rreal is a bestiary of Luna Morena’s dreams and nightmares. A catalog of hybrid animals and fantastic beings that emerge to intervene spaces, creating an extra-ordinary experience.
The beings of the surreal zoo seek to live and interact with people, without cages or ties, simply with the awareness of sharing a space and a time turned into a fantasy at the limit of the real and the imaginary.
It is a project of interventions in open spaces; squares, shopping malls, markets, fairs, theaters.
Created by Miguel Angel Gutiérrez, Zoo-real is an artistic project that combines the design and realization of medium and large format puppets, whose mechanical resolutions and animation techniques are the result of a creative and research process of more than 20 years, mixing traditional techniques and contemporary “marionethics” (construction engineering and conceptualization of puppets).
