Shadows, a Dream within a Dream 

Synopsis

A tribute to the work of the writer and poet Edgar Allan Poe, whose dark aesthetic inspires the staging based on the work with puppets, and whose axis is centred on the composition of different images that evoke some of the author’s texts, characters and atmospheres, using audio-visual-scenic experimentation.

It is an experimental puppet theatre production that combines other languages of the performing arts, particularly dance and music. The paintings are based on four poems:

A dream within a dream, The Raven, Silence, The Conquering Worm.
