Spooky Stories for Brave Kids
Synopsis
Based on a classic of German children’s literature, The Struwwelpeter (Pedro Melenas), written by Dr. Hoffmann.
The play is composed of a series of stories featuring children as protagonists, all following a similar narrative structure. Each character exhibits behavior that deviates from what is considered “normal”—refusing to eat soup, sucking their thumbs, playing with fossils or matches, harming animals… These actions lead to mysterious, exaggerated consequences that infuse the play with a sense of dark, yet hilarious humor.
